Thanks for your interest in becoming a Keystone ski patroller. Hiring for the 2007/2008 season has concluded; however, we are always happy to discuss our hiring practices with those interested. Please contact us with any questions you may have.
We recommend that our applicants have, at a minimum, the following credentials/abilities:
- Expert skier/snowboarder
- Current Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) and/or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Able to lift/carry at least 75 pounds
- Capable of working outside in variable and sometimes harsh weather conditions
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Completed (and current) application for employment on file with Keystone Human Resources
- Previous ski patrol experience preferred, but not mandatory
- The ability to commit to at minimum of three (3) seasons will allot priority status
- Four (4) ten (10) hour workdays constitues a work week
